After a great victory by the Falcon football team over UW-Stout 21-19 to set the stage, the Mike Farley Memorial Celebration kicked off in the Don Page Arena adjacent to Ramer Field at 4pm.  It was a casual gathering of nearly 400 people to listen to and share in the stories of the most successful football coach in University history.  With players, coaches, alumni, family and friends in attendance, the evening program got underway at 5pm with the arrival of the entire Falcon football team, then Coach Matt Walker made the opening remarks to the crowd.  He was followed by Mike Farley Jr., 1975 team captain Randy Taylor, Dr. David Farley, Steve Farley, Dr. Daryl Herrick and finally by Coach Farley’s wife, Rae.  It truly was a great evening to share in the legacy of a great coach and mentor,  Coach Mike Farley.
